About us
We are the family of Jenna Chan, a bright, compassionate, and talented 15-year-old girl who tragically lost her life on 8 November 2024, during a school-organized expedition to the Maldives. Jenna was our daughter, sister, and joy—a child full of promise who deserved safety, care, and a future. She was taken from us far too soon.
This website is a family-led initiative, built to honor her memory and to ensure that the truth of what happened is known. It also exists to give voice to the grief, obstacles, and silence we have encountered since her death—from the failure of those responsible to protect her, to the evasions and obstructions that followed.
We believe that no parent should have to endure what we have faced: not just the devastating loss of a child, but also the struggle for answers, for accountability, and for basic respect. Too many doors have been closed. Too many institutions have chosen image over integrity.
Our Mission
OUR MISSION
• To tell the full truth of what happened to Jenna Chan—clearly, publicly, and without distortion.
• To document the gaps in responsibility, oversight, and emergency response that contributed to her death.
• To support reforms that ensure no other child is placed at similar risk—whether on school trips or elsewhere.
• To stand up to institutional silence, legal intimidation, and attempts to quietly move on.
• To create a space for memory, love, and justice—a space where Jenna’s name is not forgotten.
We are not backed by any organization or institution. We do this as Jenna’s family, because we owe her that much—and because the truth deserves witnesses.
